Proposal writing course for H2020 collaboration projects

Dear Researcher

We are pleased to offer our researchers a proposal writing course for H2020 collaboration projects. The course is taught by Dr. Sean McCarthy, who has been involved in all aspects of European Research since 1980. He has been active as a researcher, research manager, research group leader, and company director. Today he specialises in helping organisations design and implement their European Research Strategies and provides training courses in top universities and research organisations.

Date: Wednesday, 5 December 2018, 08:30-12:30

Registration will take place between 8:30 and 9:00am

Venue: University of Zurich, Rämistrasse 59, 8001 Zurich, RAA-G-01 

Aim: Train researchers in writing professional and competitive proposals for Horizon 2020.

Content: Background on topic selection, evaluation process, streamlined proposal writing, tackling the impact section, proceeding from good ideas to key questions, finding the best partners, roles in the consortium, finding a strategy for proposal writing

Target audience: Researchers of ETH Zurich (as well as  ETH Domain and Agroscope) or University of Zurich intending to submit a proposal as coordinator and/or partner to a H2020 call.

Please note that if you are doing business with advising researchers in proposal writing and H2020 submissions, we cannot allow you into this event.

Cost: This course is free of charge. Registration is mandatory and binding. We allow us to limit places per research group case of oversubscription.
