Living and learning. Building a researcher career development framework

Date & Time: 19 January 2016, 09:30h – 17:00h

Location: Alumni Pavillon, ETH Centre, MM C 78.1

Context and General Goal

REFLEX Project aims to create a career development framework for researchers (PhDs, post docs, assistant professors, associate professors and professors), which can be customised to a variety of national and institutional backgrounds.

Our intention is to bring together researchers and stakeholders from Swiss universities and founding institutions to reflect on and discuss current and future researchers’ careers in Switzerland. The findings will feed into the definition of a flexible Career Development framework to enhance and systematize existing tools and practices for the benefit of researchers.

Our goal on January 19, 2016 is to create an open atmosphere in which new ideas are shared and discussed. Additionally, we would like present and discuss two good practices of Career Development.
