On this page, we therefore will keep you informed about current measures for your national and international research projects.

  • The European Commission (for collaborative projects), the European Research Council (ERC) and the Research Executive Agency (REA; for the Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions (MSCA)) are aware that many funded research projects are facing disruptions and delays because of the containment measures. They request that PIs and their respective host institutions flag any (foreseeable) problems to the Project Officer in charge.
  • In case your project (ERC, MSCA, collaborative project) is already facing or will face disruptions and delays because of the containment measures, please contact us as soon as possible. We will support you in preparing the message to the Project Officer / Project Coordinator.
  • In addition, please make sure that you prepare from the very beginning a complete documentation that describes the (foreseeable) scientific and financial effects of the containment measures on the project and keep records of all costs incurred.
  • In case of cancellation/postponement of meetings, travels, field works, services etc., please try to get the money back via the cancellation insurance. If there is no cancellation insurance or if it is not applicable, keep records of the costs incurred and/or of the exchange with the insurance company.
